When can I sign up?

Tecto is pre-release. The early-access list is the only way in right now, and it means exactly one email — sent when signup opens, not before.

What happens when I move a card on one board?

Nothing happens on the other boards it is on. A column is a fact about a board, so each board keeps its own; what is shared is the card — its text, its fields, its comments and its history.

Where is our data?

In a data centre in Germany, processed inside the EU. The data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR comes with every plan, including the free one.

Can we bring boards across from another tool?

Import is on the list and is not in the product yet. What is already true is the way out: every card exports as Markdown with its field values, so nothing you put in here needs our permission to leave.

What happens to our boards if we stop paying?

You export them as Markdown, with the cards, their fields and their structure. That path is tested on every release, because an export nobody tests is a promise nobody keeps.
